First Valentines Day
When you told me you had never been surprised for Valentines day, I knew I needed to do something. Unfortunately, you weren't going to be be here. Or so we thought. When your plans changed, I had to scramble to get something together in time. Thankfully I already had ideas. I decided to convert your home into a prestige restaurant. I made a bouquet of paper flowers. To get you out of the house, I sent you down to caddo bend to "meet me", but that I was "running late". I decorated the house and got to cooking, then said you could come back. I greeted you at the door like a waiter, and I was in character too. I didn't know you, I was just your waiter. I sat you and took your order and cooked the gnocchi. I came back and told you that you needed to contact the person you were waiting for because I could only hold the table for so long. You said it was your husband, and you would try reaching out to him. Once the gnocchi was ready and I brought it out, I went in the back, changed clothes, and went out the backdoor so I could rush in the front as your date and apologize for being so late (traffic was awful). For not ever really cooking, the gnocchi was good, though it was a little too salty (my bad). I can't wait for many more valentine's together. I love you so much.
