First Camping Trip

 Excluding the backpacking trip with my mom, this was our first camping trip. We were worried it was going to be too hot to sleep comfortably, but the weather was very nice. I actually ended up needing to give you my blanket the first night because you got too cold in the tent. But then I got cold in my hammock so we went to Walmart to get you an extra blanket and a pillow for your back. Then I messed up the pancakes because they tasted like soap, and the burgers thawed in the cooler and tasted weird so we just ate hotdogs. But we had such a great weekend - we visited your family and Grandma Sue and Papa, and most importantly, we floated the river for your birthday. This was also kind of our last "date" before I left to Missouri for the summer. Such good memories though. I love you so much and I'm so excited for our future filled with camping trips together.
